Flashings form a very important part of your roofing structure. It secure your roof from water leaking and damaging your ceiling. Flashing need to be installed correctly to ensure that they are effective. The most important part is to use the right flashing for the correct application. We stock all the basic flashings that you will need to secure your roof. We can also pre-order custom flashings for that specific application.

IBR RIDGING

This riding is normally used with the IBR roof sheeting profile. It is installed on the apex of the roof. It is fitted with roofing screws or top speed screws. It is available in normal 0.4 galvanized or 0.4 Chromadek.

ROLL-TOP RIDGING

This riding is normally used with the corrugated roof sheeting profile. It is installed on the apex of the roof. It is fitted with roofing screws or top speed screws. It is available in normal 0.4 galvanized or 0.4 Chromadek.

Some builders use this flashing also as valley flashing. Whoever it is ot that effective as a valley flashing because iy sometimes do overflow causing water leaks in the roof damaging your ceiling.

BOX VALLEY FLASHING

This flashing is used in the valley of the roof to enhance the flow of water from the roof. Its design make it capable to handle large amounts of water especially in rain storms. The box shape also ensured that it does not get blocked with leafs but rather flash away blockages easily and quickly.

Sean Blake Building Supplies - Flashing - Side Wall and Head Wall Flashing

HEAD & SIDE WALL FLASHING

This flashing is installed against the wall to prevent water from running down the wall into the roof. Closers are also installed with head wall flashing to prevent water from blown in under the flashing into the roof.

The Cover Flashing need to be installed with the side & head wall flashing for a secure seal. This is the most effective solution.

This flashing is installed against the wall on top and over the side and head wall flashing. This ensure that water that is running down from the wall are directed over the top of the side and head wall flashing which then flows down on the sheeting and down the roof.

The Cover Flashing need to be installed with the side & head wall flashing for a secure seal. This is the most effective solution.

COMBINATION FLASHING

The combination flashing is an alternative that can be used as side and head wall flashing. This ensure that water that is running down from the wall are directed over the top of the side and head wall flashing which then flows down on the sheeting and down the roof.

This flashing is a combination of the side wall, head wall and cover flashing all in one.
